BESPOKE LASTS

Development of custom BESPOKE lasts based on digital foot scans

At Cálzate a Medida, we develop BESPOKE lasts based on digital scans of the customer’s feet and the base last to be modified—which has been previously digitized—using our proprietary, patent-pending system.

We create a custom last that preserves the aesthetic of the original model while being precisely adapted to the actual shape of the foot.

What are BESPOKE lasts?

BESPOKE lasts are fully customized lasts, designed specifically for a particular foot. Unlike a standard last adapted by size, a bespoke last is developed based on the wearer’s actual anatomical data, ensuring a precise fit.

This system makes it possible to produce truly custom-made footwear while maintaining standard industrial processes and without turning the shoe into an orthopedic shoe.

Our process combines technical analysis, aesthetic judgment, and manufacturing feasibility, ensuring that the BESPOKE last is functional both for the foot and in the manufacturing process.

3D digital scan of the customer's foot

We capture the foot's entire shape with pinpoint accuracy, obtaining precise measurements of volume, height, width, and pressure points.

Digitization of the original last for the model to be adapted

We convert the base last into an editable digital file so that we can analyze its geometry and work on it without altering the essence of the original design.

Incorporation of corrective templates (if any)

We incorporate any custom insoles or corrective elements into the design process, ensuring true compatibility between the foot, the last, and the shoe’s internal structure.

Custom fitting based on body type, intended use, and personal preferences

We modify the last based on the user’s anatomical characteristics, the intended use of the footwear (everyday, professional, athletic), and the desired fit.
